Our Programs
Program Overview
We serve infants 6 weeks through rising kindergarten and offer age-appropriate learning environments, warm teacher relationships, and consistent routines that support healthy development. Our curriculum emphasizes whole-child growth—academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual—while creating a joyful atmosphere where children love to learn.
Standards & Curriculum
- We are moving towards VQB5 (Unified Virginia Quality Birth to Five System) standards
- We use the Experience Learning Curriculum which is integrated into our Bright Wheel software.
Infants
Infancy is a foundational stage for every child’s future. Our infant classroom provides a safe, peaceful, nurturing environment where babies can explore, bond, and learn through sensory-rich experiences. Teachers follow each child’s individual schedule and create a warm atmosphere that builds trust, attachment, and early communication. Weekly Bible themes help introduce the simple truth that God is love.
Toddlers & 2’s
Our toddler and two-year-old programs support the natural curiosity and growing independence of early childhood. In structured, predictable classrooms, children learn to express themselves, follow routines, use utensils, and begin early self-help skills. They have many opportunities to grow in their fine and gross motor skills. For children ready to begin potty training, our staff partners with families to create consistency and encouragement.
Prek 3’s and 4’s
Preschool Overview
Our preschool classrooms offer the perfect balance of structure, play, discovery, and early learning. Children explore language, early literacy, pre-math concepts, science, music, storytelling, and movement through engaging, hands-on experiences. Teachers guide children gently into cooperative play, early problem solving, and strong social-emotional skills. Weekly Bible themes and classroom worship moments help children learn about God’s love in simple, joyful ways.
Kindergarten Readiness
Our Pre-K program prepares children for a confident, successful transition into Kindergarten. Through a blend of structured learning and playful exploration, children develop early literacy, handwriting, math, science, and fine-motor skills. They build independence, communication abilities, and character qualities that will help them thrive in elementary school and beyond. Weekly chapel continues to anchor learning in Christian values.
