Katrina Lamer
Director
Hi, I’m Katrina Lamer! I am a military spouse and a mom of two young children, with close ties to our local community. I bring over five years of experience in early childhood education as both a teacher and an education coach. During my time at Primrose and Goddard Schools, I served in multiple roles in the classroom and in leadership. As a former education coach, I found immense joy in supporting teachers and students as they grow and thrive. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Old Dominion University, as well as an Associate’s Degree from Thomas Nelson.
Porchia Thompson
Assistant Director
Hello! My name is Porchia Thompson. I’m originally from Hampton, VA, and recently moved back from Arizona due to a military relocation. I am an Air Force spouse and a proud mom of two wonderful children, ages 9 and 13. I bring over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, with roles ranging from Lead Teacher to Director. When I’m not spending time with my family, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places.
